Patrick Gillman MISCP
Patrick Gillman MISCP is a member of the Irish society of chartered physiotherapists. In 2012, Patrick graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in England . After graduating he worked for the national health service (NHS) for Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare and St George’s University Hospital for almost five years. This involved a wide variety of specialities including neurology, trauma and orthopaedics, respiratory, musculoskeletal outpatients and working in the community. Patrick has gained post graduate experience in acupuncture, neck pain rehabilitation, exercise prescription, advanced sports massage and pilates. Furthermore, he has also worked in rugby union and rugby league in London.
A huge fan of rugby and soccer, Patrick played rugby at university level. Other interests of his include music and travel.
Patrick is very keen on educating patients to develop a better understanding of the cause of their symptoms and encouraging them to be actively involved in their rehabilitation. This is complimented by designing individually tailored home exercise programmes for patients and progressing these accordingly. Patrick recognises the importance of putting patients at ease and welcomes any feedback they may have.
